Diamonds don’t shine by being the same; they shine because each facet catches the light differently. At Jewelex, our people are those facets — unique, diverse, and full of brilliance. Inclusion is not a policy—it’s our DNA. We believe brilliance doesn’t come from sameness; it comes from difference. And when those differences unite, they don’t just create jewelry — they create legacy.
With 43% women in our workforce and four women leading the C-Suite (Chief Finance Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Chief People Officer, and Chief Product Officer), we are proving that diversity at the top doesn’t just inspire; it transforms.
When Leadership Wears Her Face
Representation matters, and in our case having women lead critical business functions shows every colleague—from shopfloor to strategy table—that gender is no barrier to ambition. This leadership is not symbolic; it is transformational, driving growth with empathy, innovation, and resilience.
Leadership here wears many faces, but four of them happen to be women. That’s not coincidence; that’s culture. As the Chief People Officer, Dr Saamta Jain puts it: “When women occupy the helm, the conversation shifts. It’s no longer about breaking ceilings; it’s about building new rooms where everyone belongs.”
Generations, Geographies & the Mosaic of Ideas
Walk through any of our units and you’ll see a mosaic of people. An artisan who has cut stones for thirty years works alongside a young recruit experimenting with AI-enabled designs. A woman from a rural community collaborates with a colleague trained abroad. A Gen Z digital native teaches a Baby Boomer how to use new design software, while learning craftsmanship in return.
This is intergenerational and geographical diversity in action — not forced, but natural, like rivers joining to form an ocean.
“At Jewelex, wisdom and youth don’t compete — they complete each other,” says Jain. “And that’s how we keep evolving without losing our soul.”
When Silence Speaks Volumes
Jewelex bold commitment is to onboard Specially Abled People (SAP) is commendable. Already, 100+ have joined our family. The mobilization from all across Mumbai of these Speech and Hearing Disabled is done by the HR Head under the visionary leadership of Mr Bobby Kothari who is inspirational in making them a part of Jewelex Family some 18 years back. With interpreters, Skill based trainings under JOSH (Program of GJSCI) customised training, and unwavering allyship, their silence speaks louder than words.
It speaks of respect, dignity, competence, opportunity, and equality. “We don’t just open doors; we build ramps so everyone can walk through with pride,” says Dr. Jain.
The Courage to Feel Safe
Wellbeing here is not an afterthought; it’s engineered into our ecosystem. With in-house doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, and wellness consultants, care at Jewelex is both scientific and soulful. Because brilliance needs not just skills, but strength.
True courage is not the absence of fear, but the presence of safety. Psychological counselling, career path guidance, and open-door leadership ensure that Jewelex is not just a workplace — it is The Place. That’s why Jewelex has been recognized as a Great Place to Work, a Great Place for Women, an Incredible Workplace, a Top 50 Manufacturing Company in India, and a Wellness at Workplace Award winner.
The Energy That Binds Jewelex
It’s the energy that comes alive when women lead, when interpreters bridge gaps, when a young recruit learns from an old master, when colleagues become allies.” It’s ordinary individuals creating extraordinary results because they know they belong.”
Beyond Diamonds
We don’t just craft diamonds. We craft leaders, allies, safe spaces, and futures. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging aren’t checkboxes for us — they are our competitive edge, our moral compass, and our cultural backbone. Because when diversity becomes brilliance, the world doesn’t just see diamonds — it sees Jewelex.
A Call to the Future
The world is watching workplaces with sharper eyes today. Inclusion, equity, and belonging are not optional extras — they are the bedrock of sustainable success. At Jewelex, we embrace this not as a trend, but as a truth.
Because when diversity wears the crown, brilliance becomes unstoppable. And when brilliance belongs to everyone, you don’t just build a company — you build a legacy. Our DEIB philosophy is simple—every individual matters. By blending intergenerational wisdom with youthful energy, empowering women leaders, creating ecosystems for SHI colleagues, and offering psychological and career support, we’re not just building a workforce; we’re building a future.
Jewelex doesn’t just shape diamonds and makes Jewelry,
It shapes people. It shapes futures. It shapes The Place.
